The tube in Joey's chest has become infected and that has been
what has been causing his fever to spike to 105 the last few
days. The surgeons are going to remove the tube this afternoon
since the infection is clinging to the plastic. After the
infection is cured, he will have another surgery to put a new
tube in to continue his chemotherapy. His chemotherapy that was
scheduled for this week will probably be delayed for about two
weeks which will also change the balance of the schedule. |
