What is Ewings sarcoma?

     I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on things.  Joey was almost back to normal walking by Monday and Tuesday this week but he hurt his leg going down our neighbor's slide Tuesday afternoon and hasn't been willing to put any weight on it since.  Lisa took him over to see Dr. McGrath this morning who said he didn't see anything on the X-ray but his guess is that there is a slight hairline fracture and that if Joe wasn't back up walking by Monday they were going to put his leg in a cast for a couple of weeks. He said this type of thing is not uncommon and can occur due to weakening of the bones from the chemotherapy.    

Otherwise things are going pretty well.  Joe's blood counts have been pretty strong and he didn't need a transfusion this time.  It appears we should be all set for the five night chemotherapy beginning next Tuesday although we won't know for sure until after the blood draw on Monday.
