Hi Everyone,
Joe came home yesterday from his latest 5 day treatment. He did real well this time with very little nausea or vomiting. He kept at least something of an appetite the whole time he was there. (For cheese puffs if nothing else. One of the nurses gave me a hard time for letting him have them for breakfast but at least he was eating something.) He has been eating some since we've got home too.
He had a real nice time for his birthday. He received over 40 cards which we put on the door and the bulletin board in his room. The hospital also gave him a Happy Birthday banner and some presents too. He had lots of visitors this time which helps break up the monotony for him (and us). Joe is also getting really good at air hockey (just ask Nick). All in all, his birthday was about as nice as it could be since he had to spend it in the hospital.
Only 3 more one night and 3 more five night hospital stays to go.
